Santa Barbara is visited by thousands of tourists each year due to its sunny weather, scenic landscapes and beautiful architecture. The architecture of the city is unlike the conventional American one, which is a result of the Spanish colonization that took place here hundreds of years back. Santa Barbara keeps its historical roots intact by preserving the buildings, and was one of the first cities in the nation to do so.
